TribeX Privacy Policy

TribeX ("we", "our", or "us") operates the TribeX mobile application. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you register and use TribeX:

Account information: full name, email address, phone number, gender, and birthday when provided
Membership data: activation date, expiry date, membership status, and amount paid
Fitness activity: gym check-in records (date and time of visits) and optional progress records such as weight, body fat, and strength measurements
Device information: push notification token and a unique device identifier used to deliver notifications
Profile photo: only if uploaded voluntarily by an administrator

2. How We Use Your Information

To manage your gym membership and track attendance
To send push notifications about membership expiry, gym news, and class schedules
To allow gym staff to manage member accounts and process payments
To display your membership status, check-in history, and fitness progress within the app

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on cloud servers. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data is only accessible to authorized gym administrators and is not shared with any external parties except as required by law.

5. Push Notifications

We use Expo's push notification service to deliver alerts to your device. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings. Disabling notifications does not affect your ability to use the app.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your membership account is active. If you request account deletion, your personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

Access: You can view your profile and membership data within the app
Correction: Contact your gym administrator to update your information
Deletion: Request deletion of your account by contacting your gym

8. Children's Privacy

TribeX is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
